Daily routines

The solutions to many of our difficulties in life, lies in setting out right routines. Whole day’s routine should be properly worked out, like getting up early.

  1. Going for a walk
  2. Stand facing the sun with eyes closed for 10 minutes
  3. Asanas
  4. Pranayama and Meditation (Minimum 20 Minutes)
  5. Breakfast
  6. Getting ready for work
  7. At work
  8. Light early dinner
  9. Togetherness/ relaxation at the end of the day
  10. Early to bed.

How to do routines?

Routines should not be mere mechanical actions. The most important thing about our routines is that they must generate good feelings.

A way of life

Once we have decided on our routines, they have to be carryout regularly and with sincerity. One not only sets the goal but having set the goal, one acts not once, twice, but Always.

When an action has started it gathers a momentum. When this momentum continues for a long time, results naturally occur.

Positive techniques have to be positively repeated. Sporadic actions of a good nature are not enough.
There is no question of how long should one continues the good actions, Just like one does not ask the question, “how long should I continue to breath or how long should I continue to take food.” As long as one lives one has to go on cultivating these good tendencies. And the word used is Abhayasa (Practice and Repetition of Practice).
